Nemat is a family-owned business with a passion to share their heritage and expertise of Indian Perfumery. The Attarwala family behind Nemat has been involved in the art and science of making attars for over 170 years. Attar is the name given to fragrant oils made from extracts of flowers, herbs, woods etc. The family name 'Attar'+'wala' means “possessor of perfumes”. The family traces its roots to the beautiful city of lakes, Udaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, India. This is where their forefathers began experimenting and tinkering with the art of attar creation. Ever since, they have been dedicated to capturing and bottling the emotions of nature through a blend of art and science held together by our heritage. Additionally, the entire collection of products are Vegan, Cruelty-free, Phthalate, Paraben and Glycol free.  All products have been certified by both PETA and leaping bunny.
